..our cheese ‘n grog night
..shortly after arriving in the UK.. DP and I started somewhat of our own lil tradition.. every Friday night, if we’re not out ‘n about.. we have a cheese ‘n grog night.. where we grab some grog, cheese ‘n crackers.. and enjoy them throughout the night.. here’s a pic of our cheese ‘n grog night delights..
following are the ingredients for the perfect cheese ‘n grog night.. well what we have for tonight anyways 
(ingredients are inclined to vary for variety/taste purposes)
the grog
1 x Irish Knights.. cheaper equivalent to Bailey’s, yet it serves it’s purpose.. with vanilla icecream.. nummies!! 
1 x Scotsmac.. mature british wine that’s blended with fine malt whiskey.. current favourite of DP’s .. superb on ice
1 x Jacob’s Creek Shiraz Cabernet .. this wine literally speaks for itself.. but firstly.. it’s a south aussie wine!! very easy to drink.. very nice! ..particularly with desserts and cheeses
the cheese (L – R)
Tewksbury Double Gloucester with Mustard and Horseradish ..cheese ‘n grog night virgin.. grabbed it to try something different..
Wensleydale with Cranberries ..looks nummies.. again.. this is another cheese ‘n grog night virgin.. hehe
Red Pepperjack.. DP’s choice.. it is a lil bitey and hot to taste..
Apricot Stilton.. i bought it cos it look nice.. guess wha!.. it tastes nice too.. nice cheese with a pleasant, apricotty kinda burst 
French Brie.. my choice.. i lurve brie cheese.. been eating it for years..
the crackers
Cheese Ritz.. a favourite of DP’s
Jacob’s Cream Crackers.. for those aussies having a peek.. much like our SAO’s
Pringles ..i know.. not a cracker.. but we seem to have an addiction to them at the moment.. so we buy them for munchies value
these delights are usually accompanied with a night on the putes.. a movie or two.. or whatever happens to take our fancy.. not all of which i choose to disclose
..our own cheaper, and enjoyable, alternative to the expensive pub crawl.. plus if we get drunk.. we dun gotta worry about passing out in an unfamiliar place *smiles*
