private scan.. or no private scan..?
DP and I have become increasingly curious about the sex of lil wriggler.. and have thought about paying the extra �65 just to find out the sex… as in the UK… it isn’t free.. you hafta pay �50 if you wanna know.. or go for the option of a private scan.. something about some religions/communities performing their own terminations should they find out about the sex of unborn children.. we weren’t told the details.. just given a general explanation for it not being free.. *shrugs*
we have the detailed scan in a couple of weeks.. and i guess we’ll know by then if we wanna pay the extra money to better prepare ourselves for the lillun.. i know surprises are good.. but even if we did know the sex.. it would still be much of a surprise to see whether the lillun picks up DP’s gorgeous eyes ‘n dimples, with dark colouring.. or my fair-haired, blue-eyed look.. 
so we shall see.. its something we’ve been seriously leaning towards more so over the last couple of weeks.. *ponders* … we’ll let ya know
