…Gurgi’s first Mother’s Day!
Well can ya believe it?!.. Surreal, yet somewhat of an ego stroker.. I’m a mum!! 
I ain’t gonna lie.. it didn’t exactly feel like a special day.. and I guess it wasn’t treated as such… as my day consisted of routinely waking up with Callia.. getting her brekkie and watching abc kids with her, before she went for a nap.. followed by a decent dose of housework.. sweeping floors, mopping floors, cleaning up the kitchen, tidying the bathroom.. gathering Callia’s toys so they were in one lil area.. same old, same old really.. just another day off work 
didn’t do anything.. go anywhere.. would seem sad to some.. but I think I’d get more from it when Callia’s old enough to understand the day herself.. so one Mother’s Day down… plenty to go 
On another note.. Callia’s turning 1 in 16 days (!!), so DP and I have started checking out Pre-School, we’ve pretty much got our eyes on a Montessori Pre-School linked with a College… we might hafta move from where we’re at.. but we have a couple of years before we do anything.. better to be prepared and know where we’re heading.. then waiting too long and have Callia missing out on the best we can provide..
I can’t believe this year has gone so fast.. the days just fly by.. I think I’m working too hard…lol
